Growing up with a funky name becomes more and more fantastic as the years go on! I realize I'm special, custom made, and so is my beautiful name. 💙Carami
You wrote your name on my email list and I read it out loud--no wonder you were so surprised I said it right! Does this mean I have some Japanese in me?? Or maybe it’s because I love words, segments of words, playing with words. It also reminds me of the song Cara Mia by Jay and the Americans back in the 60s. I have always loved that song. I just now listened to it and then I found the artist performing it when he was in his 60s--he still could hit those high notes! Btw, Cara derives from Irish and means friend!
Wow I just listened to that song by Jay and the Americans. It does sound like they are singing my name. Thank you for more background on my name. How fun!!
You have a beautiful name, I love each part of it. I also know how to pronounce your name, and I always remember two sounds in Portuguese that mean caramel and want me around. You are unique, your name is a prove of it. Such incredible human being!
I remember meeting you for the first time at church when you moved to Vegas. I had never heard your name before, and thought it was so pretty! Being named Jennifer, the no. 1 name for baby girls for 15 years, meant I had several best friends named Jennifer growing up, and didn't feel very unique. My mom said she got the name from the movie, Valley of the Dolls, with the character played by Sharon Tate. Since Sharon Tate was murdered by Charles Manson, I always felt extra creeped out.
I love thinking about meeting you in our youth! (Or our younger youth. Ha ha) How crazy about your name though. I never knew any of that. Well, it’s a fantastic and famous name. And honestly I love the nickname Jen, it’s so close and personal.🥰
So cool! I want a hanko!!! It funny because it’s a signature. Well here in the US some say “can I have your John Hancock right there please”, and so it’s very similar. Also I can relate a bit with never being able to get any souvenirs at Busch Gardens, Disney World, Universal Studios, the zoo or Seaworld. I’d see Frances but that’s not my name. It’s almost like they didn’t want to bother putting in the other letters :/ Francesca is one of those name. But I almost got called Magdalena, so I lucked out there. Neat story and cool pictures
