Hello! Here’s a little of what to expect in this blog… The first few blog posts will introduce me, explain how I go “here,” and illustrate the reasons I decided to start chronicling and publishing this Second Half of my life. I will then intersperse interviews with marvelous individuals in the Second Half of their lives. I will do my best to connect with and interview a diverse variety. I wish to build a community who shares many different kinds of stories and perspectives.
Years ago, we had a High Priest Group separate from Elders Quorum. The High Priest Group was composed of people who had previously held high positions in the Ward. It seems that when a question was raised in Elders Quorum, there were a lot of people knew and would have answers. In contrast, when a question was brought up in High Priest Group, there were very few who dared to venture a guess as to what the answer should be. I do not know, but perhaps this is an omen of what you might anticipate in your 2nd Half of your life.
Thanks for your comment!! I relate to what you’ve said! I feel like the older I get, the less definitive answers I have. The world gets wider and more complex and more and more mysterious the more I find out about it. It’s so exciting!!
