About Addy
Throughout her entire life, Addy has demonstrated great passion for collective connection, communication, and collaboration, as well as individual and collective transformation. In the Second Half of her life, Addy aims to intentionally heal individuals, couples and families while cultivating a more supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities, within all the environments they live, learn and grow in.
After a 25+ year career in education as a speech-language pathologist and special education administrator, Addy encountered a physical setback that awarded her the opportunity to examine her life. After careful reflection and intentional planning for the second half of her life, she founded Addy Manriquez Coaching & Consulting. Addy is known as an effective and culturally competent confidence and empowerment coach, special education and disability consultant, and speaker. In her coaching role, Addy supports individuals, couples, or families seeking support with any challenge or obstacle they are facing and specializes in working with clients navigating the unique challenges of supporting and advocating for individuals with exceptional needs, whether they are children or adults. As a result of her coaching, clients encounter strengthened relationships, more effective communication, increased impactful advocacy, and enriched personal and professional connections. Addy serves as a special education and disability consultant for families, educational institutions, and corporations. Her mission is to equip and empower individuals, families, school divisions, and workplace teams by guiding families with the special education process, providing professional learning, development and instructional coaching to school divisions, and enhancing workplace inclusivity practices.
